It depends on whether you want to stay in India or you want to go abroad. If you are planning to stay in India and you want to take admission here, then you have to appear for CAT, XAT, MAT, etc. Some colleges also have their separate entrance exams. Some of the very good colleges here additionally check your class 10 or 12 marks, your graduation marks, your job experience and your entrance exam scores. If you meet their qualification eligibility, then they call you for a personal interview. In very good colleges the CAT score just carries a 20% weightage. The rest is dependent on the above mentioned things. I hope this helps.

Hi Himanshu,
You can give an additional exam for maths, before heading on for your graduation (but for that, you may have to drop for 6 months or even a year, as you didn't had maths previously), so that it can be added up to your grade card and could open up the fields asking for maths.
After that, you can proceed for BCA, and then MCA.
If you had a commerce background, then you can pursue for B.Com. IT, but you will have to do additional courses like Programming languages(C, C+), DS, Networking, etc. which are among major subjects of BCA, and becomes a base for doing MCA.
But you know yourself better. So if you think that... View more
