Acharya Nagarjuna University have workshops for its students. Acharya Nagarjuna University arranges sports facilities and several other facilities to students. There are various games arranged by the university in which students are free to participate.

There are various guidelines that Acharya Nagarjuna University has introduced for new and existing students. New students must not worry about ragging as it is strictly prohibited. Also, the campus has CCTV installed every where. The university entry gates have guards on them who restrict the entry of new university students. Hence, safety and security are the prime objectives of the university.

The fee for B.Sc at Acharya Nagarjuna University Centre for Distance Education is INR 18,365 for a duration of 3 years. In 1976 act 43 of the A. P. State Legislature founded the university as Nagarjuna University, and In 1991 act 4 which governs the six state universities, created the university's governance. On September 11, 1976, Sri Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, the Indian president at the time, gave it his formal opening. The Governor of Andhra Pradesh issued the A.P.
