Amity University Kolkata offers a two-year long MBA program. The placements in the MBA programme are impressive with an average placement package of INR 40,000, the highest package offered is INR 60,000, while the lowest is INR 28,000. Prominent organisations that actively recruit from the university include Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, Byju's, ITC, Nestle, Flipkart, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank. Yes, with 73% in Class 12, a student can get admission to the BCA course at Amity Kolkata, as the minimum eligibility criteria involves a minimum 50% aggregate in Class 12 for admission to the UG course. However, for admission to the BCA course, preference will be given to the student who has appeared in any one of the entrance exams that is accepted by the institute.
The institute offers BCA and BCA + MCA, but the tuition fees for both courses are different. The total tuition fees for the BCA course are INR 3.63 lakh and INR 8 lakh for BCA + MCA.

 To apply for an MSc course, the aspirant shall have a Bachelor's degree in Science with a relevant subject (mandatory) from a recognised university. For applied chemistry, a BSc degree in applied chemistry, BSc in Applied Mathematics, and applied physics for the MSc Applied Mathematics and MSc Applied Physics specialisations.

Amity University Kolkata offers merit-based admission to most of the UG courses. For courses like BTech and BArch, admission is entrance exam-based. Hence, JEE Main/ Amity JEE exam scores are acceptable for admission to BTech programmes and NATA for BArch. However, the final selection of the students is based on merit/ entrance exam scores followed by an English Language Test and GDPI.
