Amity University goes through a process of entrance exam and selection through interviews before admission. Firstly, the candidate can apply online which would be followed by Interviews and written examinations that would also demand 10+2 and Bachelors mark sheet.

Candidates willing to secure a seat in Amity University UG courses should hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate or should have cleared an equivalent examination from a recognized Board. The candidate should have secured 60% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For some UG courses, the minimum marks range between 50-60%. Candidates belonging to reserved categories get a relaxation of 5% marks. Admission to all courses offered by Amity University is granted through an Entrance Test conducted by the University. The entrance test is an Essay test followed by an interview round/group discussion round (depending on course selection)

For the IAS, IFS & IPS, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
For the IRS and other services, a candidate must be one of the following:
A citizen of India
*a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Eligibility: The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Vocational, Non-Written subjects will not be considered while calculating the aggregate.
