It is really tough to directly comment any institute best or not or answer which is the best institute in a city or country , especially for domains like animation and VFX or gaming where many institutes offer many types of courses for different duration for the almost all the same pipeline .
We need to see the content of the course , duration, cost , infra, earlier students outputs and skill developed , in-time course completion record , certification process & delivery of certificate in time etc.
Also Same Brand has different centers and branches and fortunately/unfortunately all does not perform the same . Some centers are doing great

There are many parameters do decide the status of an institute , a few things which are important is , if the past students are developed well and got placed ! quality of work generated by the students ! Infra, if the course are getting completed in time ! How is the certification process & if the course fee is reasonable etc.

Dear Manish,
I understand , being at Ranchi, its surely gives you advantage to do a course at same city. But if we speak about animation industry , then i feel its Mumbai , Chennai , Bangalore & Pune who are really doing good and growing fast in this aspect.
Bangalore is the 1st City in India , which has its own animation policy by the government , which reflects government interest and support in this industry here at Bangalore .
Now also Hyderabad is in the same list .
Automatically bigger companies and industries are more interested to invest in these cities.

Best is a relative term and your perception and objective will define it for you. While choosing any institute/college ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's. Visit top 5 institutes and do your own analysis to identify most appropriate option
