It depends on what candidates mean by an Aviation professional. By far the easier and better job is that of a pilot. If candidates are young (aged 12-18), it is recommended that they pursue a general course of study. Take as many Maths and Science courses as possible. It may appear unusual to study Geography and Geology, but candidates would want to know what they are looking at.

As a pilot, you can achieve financial stability and even make a lot of money, but you won't become a millionaire by simply flying. There will be ups and downs, just like in the current situation. It depends depend on the type of flying you wish to undertake and the organisation for which you work.
Aviation also necessitates a significant amount of time away from home, and the stress on the family can be quite severe, depending on the type of flying you choose. One thing is certain: you will be expected to study continually and will never stop learning.

The following are the eligibility requirements for aviation courses after the 12th grade of Aviation colleges in India:

  • In Class 12, the students should have studied PCM  (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics)
  • minimum cumulative score of 50% in Physics, English, and Mathematics was required for passing.
  • During flying hours, the applicant is required to present a class II medical certificate from a physician certified by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Note: In the absence of an official update, merit-based eligibility has been mentioned for all the Aviation courses and may vary.
