Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts shortly called as SSLA is a constituent unit of the popular Symbiosis University operating from the city of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
For getting into the Liberal Arts course offered by the SSL, candidates must have completed their class 12 examination in any branch with not less than 50% of marks for general category candidates and not less than 45% of marks for SC/ST category candidates.
Symbiosis entrance test SET 2016 is a common written test organized every year nationally. This test is for admission in various undergraduate programs in the institutes of Symbiosis International University. The SET test duration is 150 minutes, which consist of objective type test of five question papers and organized in two sessions. The score of written the test is used for admission, SET is objective type in nature where four options as answers are given to the student, there is no negative marking for wrong answers, and each question is mandatory.
There are two sessions of test a candidate can register for one paper from the morning session for Law or Design and from the afternoon session for General or Engineering or Health Science.
The process of admission at Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts includes the following steps:
• Registering and appearing for SET Examination
• Sending application to the Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts either through courier/post along with DD towards the application fee
• Sending higher secondary mark sheet from the previously attended school or sending an official high school transcript from the current high school
• Sending a sample of writing that has been written in the last year: This must be an essay written by the students for their class or just for a hobby or they can also provide answer to the question that will be given to them.
Reservation for the Liberal Arts course of SSLA will be made according to the norms of Symbiosis International University.

BSc Psychology
BSc psychology provides the students with deep knowledge in psychology and is opted by many students for their graduation. The students after their schooling choose to psychology as a subject for their graduation as the subject provides with new and wide opportunities for candidates. The students after their course will get deep knowledge in the theories of psychology and the areas related to it. The students can get placed in health departments or can choose teaching as their profession.
BA Psychology
There are many students who prefer a bachelor's degree in arts for their graduation. Many colleges provide a bachelor's degree in Psychology and those successfully completing the course are awarded Bachelor of Arts degree. The students will get deep routed knowledge in psychology which helps them to be successful in their career. The students will get practical knowledge which helps them in knowing the psychological aspects of human life and behavior.
Key difference between BSc Psychology and BA Psychology
Both BSc Psychology and BA Psychology are similar in many aspects. The students can choose their subject according their preference. One cannot say which course is better. The key difference is that one provides more emphasis on the theories of psychology and another practical aspect of psychology. One can choose BA or BSc in psychology as both these provide deep knowledge

Age is never a problem when it comes to education. To become a successful psychologist in India, you will have to follow an entire degree course; that is Bachelor's program in psychology, followed by Master's degree, and then PhD in this subject.
Other Options that can help you in knowing- how to become psychologist in India:
-You can enroll into one year diploma course in psychology under guidance and counseling.
-Opt for certification courses (6 months- 1 year) after you have completed your graduation, conducted by qualified psychologists and afterwards, you can become a member of Association of Professional Psychologists.
Therefore, minimum qualification required in becoming a psychologist or counselor is to get degree in any stream with an added diploma course in psychology or get membership in Association of Professional Psychologists.
