Baihata Chariali B.Ed. College accepts the Pre Entry Test (PET) conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Assam, for its B.Ed. admission. Admittance is given on the merit list basis of total marks obtained in PET along with their HSSLC or Graduation Marks. This test has to be qualified, which is out of 100 marks.

Similarly, admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education also follows this criterion, wherein the candidate has to qualify in the PET conducted by SCERT, Assam.

Yes, as a B.Sc (Hons) Instrumentation student, you are eligible to pursue a B.Ed degree and sit for government teacher exams, as a bachelor's degree in any stream is generally accepted as a qualifying criterion for B.Ed admission and most government teacher recruitment processes; just ensure you meet the specific percentage requirements set by the institution or exam conducting body you are applying to.
