1. Diploma in Elementary Education of two year duration
2. A Bachelor's degree in elementary education of four years' duration
3. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) degree of two year duration
4. A B.Ed. special of one year's duration. If you have any one of the above, irrespective of your degree, you can apply for CTET. If you don't have any, you have to pursue any Diploma or degree in education as per NCTE regulations.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by Thiraviam College of Education .
Admission Process:
Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors degree and/or in the Masters degree in science

Eligibility Criteria:
A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelors degree examination of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent through 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education who has obtained 50% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for the degree is eligible for admission to B.Ed. program.
The candidate with less than 50% aggregate in the degree, but a Masters Degree with 50% is also eligible for B.Ed. program.
