Hello dear,
I am going to talk in regards to the Indian system only. To be true it really does not matter at this moment. Forensic Science does have a lot of scopes, but a B.Sc. In Forensics is a vastly generalized degree. So don't expect to get a job easily just after doing your B.Sc. On the other hand B.Sc. In Agriculture is a specialised degree. And the best part has a Forensic aspect as well. So, if you really want to study Forensics, then I would suggest that first study Agriculture or Botany and then study the Forensic aspect of it in your Masters. The basic criteria of eligibility needed for admission to the course is a higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification from a recognised educational board with physics, chemistry and biology and/ or maths as the main subject and a minimum aggregate score of 55%. However, a few private universities in India conduct their own entrance tests for evaluating and admitting students to the course.
