Shalini, yes you may get lateral entry into second year on animation degree. Although since you'd be new to animation the entire course must get covered in the 2 years, so do check with the institute about that. Also you must hurry since the admissions may close anytime (for e.g. at Arena chandigarh it closes on 10 Sep). If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding car

MAAC does not offer degree courses whereas Frameboxx offers degree course.
If you want to do certificate courses then MAAC is really a good choice. You can choose whether you want to do AD3D EDGE (3D Animation) or ADVFX (Visual Effects). But if you wanna do degree courses then here are some well known institutes: Animaster Academy, Toonz Academy, Global School of Animation & Games, Image College of Arts, Animation & Technology, Wiztoonz, ZICA, Academy of Animation & Gaming.
