Yes, at ASAS Kochi, B.Sc. in Nursing has a higher placement rate than B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy. According to the college's 2022-23 placement report, 90% of B.Sc. in Nursing graduates were put in various hospitals and healthcare organizations, while 75% of B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy graduates were placed.
There are a few reasons why B.Sc. in Nursing has a better placement rate than B.Sc. in Respiratory Therapy.
In the healthcare business, nurses are in more demand than respiratory therapists. This is due to nurses' broader skill set and ability to handle a number of duties such as medicine administration, wound care, and vital sign

Admission to the BSc courses and the integrated BSc course is merit-based. Candidates are admitted based on performance in the last qualifying examination. The selected students may have to participate in the counselling round as well for seat allotment. After seat allotment, candidates have to submit some amount of the fee to confirm their seat.

For admission to BSc courses, candidate should have passed two-year PU exam conducted by the Karnataka PU Education Board or equivalent. For BSc in Design stream, candidates who have studied two years Job Oriented Courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any state government or any other examination are also eligible. Aspirants also have to present the official documents with them for verification purposes.
