For admission to the University of Manitoba BSc Computer Science program, students must have a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate. A minimum average of 80% is required over the following, with no less than 60% in each course: 

  • English

  • Applied Mathematics or Pre-Calculus Mathematics

  • One of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics

  • An academic course

Students can only pursue BSc at Periyar University's affiliated colleges. Admission to BSc course at Periyar University is entirely merit-based. Candidates are selected based on their merit scores obtained in the last qualifying exam. There is no entrance exam required for BSc at Periyar University. Choosing  a college for B.sc course depends on various factors (few of them are):

  • Home state : Choosing a college from your home state seems more appropriate most of the time because the environment there may not be entirely unknown to you.Also, ot depends upon the course you select.
  • Location: location of a college and its connectivity to important places in the city is of high importance :
  • Alumni Network: a good alumni network may help you in your placement, as their referral may land you a job in your dream company .
