There are about 70+ BTech Civil Engineering colleges in Pune. Out of these, 72 colleges are privately owned, 3 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own only 1 college. SASTRa is better in terms of education than Jain University, which is considered better for faculty and placement. The highest package offered at Jain University is INR 54 LPA, while at SASTRA University, the highest package offered till now is INR 7.6 LPA. Students from other states can apply mainly through JEE Main scores under the All India quota. MHT CET is mainly meant for Maharashtra domicile students. However, some private colleges may allow non-domicile students during institute-level admissions if seats remain vacant. Such admissions are subject to state rules and availability of seats.

Mumbai has around 70+ BTech colleges in Mumbai accept MHT CET score. Of these, 60+ colleges are privately owned, 4 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 1 BTech college.
Some of the popular MHT CET accepting BTech colleges in Mumbai (All) include ICT Mumbai, VJTI Mumbai, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, K J Somaiya Institute of Technology, etc.

The total intake of students in B.Tech Civil Engineering at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is 300. Last year, 287 students were admitted to the programme with 113 being females.
