In terms of placement rate, the CSE branch of the R. N. Shetty Institute of Technology has a better placement percentage than the Bangalore Institute of Technology. The placement rate for the B.Tech CSE branch has been above 90 percent at RNS, whereas at BIT Bangalore it is above 83 percent in 2022. For this branch, the highest placement package at RNS was 55 Lacs. At BIT Bangalore, it was 38 LPA in the previous batch of B.Tech CSE.
