The applicant should have passed Class 12 (second PUC of the Karnataka state or its equivalent) as recognised by Bangalore North University to apply for the BCA course. The New Horizon College, Marathahalli has set a minimum percentage requirement in class 12 that candidates must attain. BCA at New Horizon College, Marathahalli also has value-add programmes such as Machine Learning, Personality Assessment Programme, Foreign Language- French/ German etc.

Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in PCM from a recognised school is the basic eligibility for BCA offered at Invertis University. For general BCA, Maths is not compulsory. SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible for the programme.

The eligibility criteria for the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at Gandhi Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognised board with at least 45% marks
  • It is preferable for candidates to have studied Computer Science or Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level

Hi Nishar,  

The selection process for BCA programme at CTIMT varies slightly depending on the location, but generally involves the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 45% marks in class 12th from a recognised board (CBSE/ PSEB/ ICSE, etc.)
  • Mathematics as a subject in class 12th
  • The entrance exam is optional. Some CTIMT campuses may conduct their own entrance test for BBA admissions.
  • The test might assess aptitude in English,  Mathematics, Reasoning, and General Knowledge.
  • Admissions are offered based on a combination of class 12th marks, entrance test score (if applicable), and interview performance
