They can find jobs in petroleum sector industries like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Bharat Petroleum, etc. They can also try for jobs in telecom sector industries such as Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). They can also try jobs under various ministries, for this, they have to pass certain entrance exams or PSC tests conducted by the government. They are paid a very high salary in public sector, along with certain extra benefits. The initial salary can be up to Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Qualification Eligibility for NET:
Qualifying Examination: Masters or equivalent degree from Universities/Institutions recognised by UGC.
Subjects: The qualifying examination must be passed in subjects like humanities (including languages) and social Science, computer Science & applications, electronic Science, etc.
Minimum Marks: The percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is 55% (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD categories).
Appearing Candidates: Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Master's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
Relaxation: Relaxation of 5% marks in qualifying examination shall be given to Ph.D degree holders whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991.

You can definitely get a good job if you are good at PHP, but the trends all over the world shows that PHP market value is declining gradually, hence it's not a good option to invest time in the same in the long term. Java, JavaScript, C#, C+ still have good market value.
But in some sense, it doesn't matter. You shouldn't try to predict what language is going to be most popular.
You should adapt as the market changes, and learn new languages as they become popular.
