Hello!
NISERs are not generally placement-oriented colleges. They prefer to give good quality education to the students. The course is structured focusing on a research career.
However, the placements for last year were good the highest package offered was INR 15 LPA and the average package was INR 8 LPA. Almost 80% of the batch got placed. Some of top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Defense Research and Development Organization, Indian Space Research Organization, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Labs, etc.
