Both entrance-based and merit-based admissions are offered by the university. Patna University accepts various entrance examinations for different courses. In the case of LLM and M. Ed. programs, candidates must obtain qualifying scores in MLET and MEET in order to be chosen.Candidates who wish to enroll in UG courses at BN College must take the PUCET exam. The PUCET score is used to create the merit list for the BSc (Hons) programme at BN College.
Online registration is the admission method.

The eligibility criteria for admission in this course is Intermediate with 45% marks. There are 60 seats sanctioned for admission in this course.
The Department of Economics strictly adheres to the syllabus approved by Patna University, which is revised time to time. The latest revision of the syllabus was done in 2015.
The course offered by the Department is a regular Under-graduate course for a period of 36 months.
Admission in this programme is done through Common Entrance Test conducted by Patna University. Before PUCET, college entrance test was conducted.

Our college does not provide placements for B.Sc students. Companies won't visit our college to recruit B.Sc students. Only a few students got placed in BCA and BBA courses. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good.
Patna College offers various undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Science. The college publishes the merit lists on its website as well as on the college notice boards, however, there is no individual notification sent to the applicants.
The Patna College selects students who have qualified Patna University Common Eligibility Test commonly referred to as PUCET with a valid score.
