To be eligible for DM courses, candidates should have passed MD DNB in a relevant discipline. For MCH, the candidate must have passed MS DNB from a recognized institution by MCI.
Selection for the courses is done based on NEET Score.

The Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University offers a number of undergraduate degree courses, like B.Tech (regular, lateral entry and Part-time), BDS, B.Sc., BPT, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Ed and M.B.B.S. degrees with various specializations. The B.Tech course is offered as regular, lateral entry and part-time.
The B.Tech regular course is offered with 15 different specializations and the duration for these courses is four years. B.Tech part-time and B.tech course through lateral entry is offered with six different specialization subjects. The B.Sc. degree is offered with 11 different specialization subjects.

Basic eligibility for BPT Admission is that the candidate must have quality 10+2 with 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised board. Must have PCM as main subjects in higher secondary. NEET is not required for BPT The universities or colleges take separate exams this course, but some state like Maharashtra may consider the NEET marks for admission in this course, But the basic eligibilty criteria to get admission in BPT is to score.
