It depends on your area of interest. If you are interested in business or management orientation go with MBA. But, if you want to pursue or master a particular specialization, which you tend to do, go for M.Tech. Just make a clear decision about it as both are beneficial in terms if job aspects. You have other options like:

Yes, you can sit for CAT. Since you are an Arts Graduate, it would be better, if you join coaching classes for CAT preparation, and try and take a lot of mock tests to sharpen your skills in the various subjects on which questions are asked at CAT. CAT generally has three sections. Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal, Data Interpretation and logical Reasoning.

I believe, there is not much in scope in MBA biotechnology, there are not much placement opportunities here in India. But if you want to pursue your career outside India, then it MBA in biotech is good. You will get many opportunities there.

Yes, it is worth doing correspondence MBA from Symbiosis Pune. Correspondence MBA from Symbiosis Pune is really a good option after graduation or along with your job. Yes, one will get better placement after doing MBA from Symbiosis and infact many of my friends are placed in some good companies.
