There are some B-schools whose value and fees both are high like IIM, Symbiosis, XLRI. Some B-schools have high value with low fees like Jamia, FMS Delhi, PUMBA, TISS, JBIMS. It is a good idea to pursue MBA from a high value but a low fees B school.

Scoring well in the Common Admission Test CAT is definitely a positive step towards getting admission into the Indian Institutes of Management (Iims). Yes, there is a hostel facility available on campus for Girls and off campus for Boys. The Boys hostel is just 500 to 600 meters away from the campus in a separate building. The cost of accommodation for girls is roughly in the range of INR 16,000 to INR 18,000 and for boys, it is lesser than that. This cost also includes the meal plan.

There are various events that keep on occurring round the year. However, one of such events is Sabrang. Sabrang is a theme based cultural event which takes place on campus for 2 days. Apart from these cultural events, there are domain specific conclaves as well such as Financial for Finance, Touge for Marketing, Opsession for Operations and HR-o-scope for HR based domain.

Since first year of any MBA programme is a general studies of all the domains. Once should be very attentive in order to help them understand better for future selection of the electives. Also, the professors are quite punctual, so try not be late to the classes. Attendance is mandatory or else you will not be allowed to sit for the exams.
