By focusing on interactive activities like case studies, live project work, role-play and simulation activities, using Management Games and Group Participation Activities throughout the programme allows students to be actively involved with their education rather than just listening to lectures from their professors. Workshops provide students with opportunities for hands-on practice of what they learned in class. They also provide students with opportunities to meet professionals working in various industries and to participate in Idea Pitching sessions and Entrepreneurial Challenges, which enable students to practice and develop the skills required to succeed when starting a business or working for someone else. Campus clubs, Cultural Activities, Fest days, Sports, and Innovation Activities create a unique atmosphere on campus where students can connect with each other in ways that promote collaboration and enjoyment while developing practical skills and confidence.

At the GIBS campus, the incorporation of creativity and playfulness within the academic environment is achieved by combining the academic experience with experiential and activity-based learning. During class, the students will participate in various activities, including but not limited to role-play, business simulations, case discussions, group challenges, and idea pitches, which emphasise creativity as a means of learning instead of applying memorised information. In addition to academics, the GIBS campus encourages creativity with the assistance of student clubs, cultural festivals, management games, innovation labs, entrepreneurship challenges, open mic nights, sports, and team-building activities. These activities create an atmosphere of excitement where students can employ their creative ability, collaborate with other students, express themselves creatively, and develop their leadership skills, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a fun and entertaining manner.

There is no direct admission to GIBS Business School without an evaluation, and while national test scores do not represent the only pathway to admission each year, they are an important part of the selection process for the MBA and PGDM programs. This is how it works:

• GIBS supports the selection of candidates based on the results from national exams (such as CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT) for pursuance of the MBA/PGDM course. The scores acquired qualify and are used for determining i.e. shortlisting (the next stage of selection).
• As previously stated, direct entry to GIBS for the MBA or PGDM course does not exist without a qualified national examination score. To compete for a chance at earning admission into those programs, candidates will generally need a national examination score to qualify for consideration in the shortlisting process.
• GIBS provides flexibility, as a candidate may use another equivalent national test exam, along with the internal assessment criteria that are part of the holistic evaluation process, to mitigate the absence of a particular national examination score (as well as academic credentials, interviews, SOPs, and profiles).
• For BBA programs, direct admissions will be made primarily based on 12th class merit, so candidates should have the option of pursuing direct entry for the BBA.

The GIBS has invested in creating a supportive environment for students through its new campus. Students will experience an enhanced ability to focus during their studying and downtime by providing a calm and thoughtful design with a focus on student need. The classrooms are equipped with modern technology and large windows providing ample natural light, along with designated academic quiet zones, which will assist students in concentrating during lectures and while studying independently. The open green spaces, courtyard areas, and communal areas allow for an opportunity to recharge during breaks in between class periods. Within the new facility, there are also areas designed specifically for student recreation and relaxation that provide a distraction-free environment to relax and rejuvenate mentally, increasing productivity. The entire GIBS campus is a well-designed combination of structure and space to allow students the opportunity to remain engaged, motivated, and energized throughout each day.

Internships offered through GIBS are much more than temporary job placements; they also tend to function as a "first look" into what an intern's future career could look like through pre-placement offers (PPO). Each year, as a result of the many different factors related to internship placements, there will be different percentages of PPOs received by students. Typically, students who have performed well throughout the course of their internships will be offered PPOs by the same recruiters. Recruiters utilize internships as a means to evaluate the work ethic, culture fit, problem-solving skills and performance level of interns in order to select the most employable candidates before the year's end. Because of these reasons, students who demonstrate professionalism, positive engagement and strong job performance during their internship will be more likely to receive PTO from GIBS.

Yes, GIBS Business School provides scholarships and financial aid for deserving students who qualify based on their academic record, entrance examination scores (CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT), demonstrated leadership potential, competitive accomplishments, and overall strength as an applicant. Scholarships may cover part of tuition and recognize outstanding performance.

In addition to merit-based scholarships, GIBS may provide category assistance (based on the school's policies and student eligibility), and in some cases offer additional allowances for young talent or high achievers on entrance exams.
