The Calcutta University MAT Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the MBA in Human Resource Management and MBA in Public Systems programme. The Calcutta University MBA Cutoff 2025 for the MBA in Human Resource Management was 70 for the Gender-Neutral category candidates under the All India quota. 

For the MBA in Public Systems course, the cutoff was also in the 70 percentile for the Gender-Neutral AI category.

There is no direct admission to GIBS Business School without an evaluation, and while national test scores do not represent the only pathway to admission each year, they are an important part of the selection process for the MBA and PGDM programs. This is how it works:

  • GIBS supports the selection of candidates based on the results from national exams (such as CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT) for pursuance of the MBA/PGDM course. The scores acquired qualify and are used for determining i.e. shortlisting (the next stage of selection).

The recent placement period for GIBS Business School saw the participation of more than 260 recruiters offering full-time jobs in a wide variety of fields and industries; meanwhile about 90 companies came to campus to specifically recruit students for intern jobs. This provided students with a lot of hands-on experience and many pre-placement opportunities while they were enrolled in school.
