Try for schools apart from IIMS. FMS, Delhi is a good option. Doon Business School, Dehradun is also a likely option as the fee is reasonable and quality of education is at par with the top business schools.

For correspondence course, you can try IGNOU. There is a MoU with ICAI and IGNOU and you need to give only 4-5 general exams to get your B.Com degree.
Thanks.

Firstly, work on CAT entrance exam preparation. Start with basic maths specially 9th and 10th standard. Refer some good CAT preparation books like
Arun Sharma - How to prepare for Quantitative Ability for CAT published by Tata McGraw Hill
Nishit Sinha - The Pearson Guide to Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
Trishna's - Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning
Prepare regularly and do join a good test series to evaluate your performance. Also, join a good test series to evaluate your performance. Building your resume is sub-important. You can work on this too.

Yes, if you want to pursue CA at 12th standard, you must clear CPT (now called foundation course). Otherwise, if you want to pursue CA after graduation then you'll be directly eligible to give IPCC no CPT or foundation course required. Details of same can be found on ICAI.Org.

A separate list is prepared for those candidates shortlisted under the category of CA as "Nomination list". So, the candidate gets preference over the rest of the candidates scoring same marks. No information about the exact marks compensation could be given.
