Well, true to some extent. But, the way questions are framed and tested is difficult in CA. Class 12th concepts will help you for sure, but you need to practice CA test like CA TEST not class 12th.

Hello Indhu,
CA (chartered accountant) needs accountancy and a little of mathematics.
So, it is better to take commerce group with accountancy, mathematics or business mathematics. This is the widely preferred group for CA.
Even a science student can do CA but he needs to learn separately for accountancy.
All the best.

If you are interested in Chartered Accountancy, then obviously you should be opting for commerce. No point in doing science and then proceeding for CA.

It is not necessary to join B.Com. You can pursue CA being a science graduate as well. You just have to get a minimum required percentage in your graduation to be eligible.
It will just be a tad difficult for you than other aspirants since they have already studied in the same field, but not impossible.
Good luck.

Every year a large number of students who clear CA had science background at 10+2 stage. If you are determined and focused then you can clear CA examination. There is no risk.
