Hi Glad to know that you want to be chef, some of my friends are working in hotels and restaurant
you can pursue graduation in hotel management
There are two courses for now I guess
BHM - Bachelor of Hotel Management
BCT - Bachelor of Catering Technology
BHM is for people who like service, housekeeping, receptionist they should have good communication skills
BCT - is for those who like cooking want to become chef, it's a culinary filed
so you can choose BCT.
There are IIM in every state it's a government institute proving course on both BHM and BCT there are limited seats, apart form that Pvt institutes they will take you after conducting simp

The executive chef is only the designation, Arya. To become a chef, you can take any stream of your choice in 11th and after completing 12th, you can pursue a Bachelor degree in hotel management. Once you complete the degree, you will be eligible to become a chef in a restruant or hotel of your choice.

If you wish to apply for Genetic Engineering, so you can apply for IIT JEE exam. This exam is conducted for Engineering course. NEET exam is conducted for MBBS and BDS course.

You are advised to appear for GATE to seek admission in M.Tech which will not only increase your employability but also you will be eligible for seeking jobs in PSU. Why do not you try for job in Defence Services which has acute shortage of Engineering grads. You can appear in CAT, XAT, MAT etc in various MBA entrance exams to seek admission in MBA/ PGDM . CDAC offers a basket of job oriented one year PG Diploma courses. You may evaluate CDAC to get a job. You can join Computer Training Institutes such as Alchemy to get IT industry skills as join industry as Ready to Deploy resources.
