I remember, that when I wanted to study MBA some reputed University, I was very hesitant to sit for CAT. CAT exam is a difficult one and everyone cannot afford to get a high percentile. This is absolutely normal and there's nothing to be looked down upon phone stock What I did was that I looked for top private management universities which conduct their own entrance exams. JK lakshmipat University which is situated in Jaipur is supported by 125 year old JK organizations. I understand your apprehensions of not wanting to appear for CAT exam. It is a super difficult exam which is given by lacs of candidates all across the country. In such a case I suggest that you should start figuring out private management universities that conduct management entrance exam of their own. It is very common for people to look for alternatives when they do not want to give CAT. CAT is a very competitive exam in which lacks of aspiring management candidates apply. With these CAT score no good reputed MBA college will take you for Admission . You can prepare for MAT which can help you to get admission in tier 3 MBA colleges like Jaipuria Institute of Management , IILM etc if you score more than 90%

IIRM accept CAT MAT CMAT scores
For CAT your Percentile should be above 60%
For MAT your Percentileshould be above 75% (Note) - IIRM also offer scholarship to students who have got more than 70% in CAT and 90% in MAT.

Hi, Due to the prevailing situation I. e. COVID-19, the admissions 2020 is being done online and the eligibility conditions are a bit relaxed. The eligibility criteria is 55% in graduation+Interview. Your academic performance is really outstanding. The minimum overall CAT cutoff of top IIMs is remaining between 80-95 percentile. While the sectional cutoff is also important and is remaining between 70-85. The following components with their corresponding weightage plays important roles in a selection of a candidate.
IIM Bangalore criteria :
1. CAT : 25%
2. PI : 30%
3. What : 10%
4. Bachelors Degree : 10%
5. Work Experience : 10%
6. 10th Marks : 10%
7. 12th Marks : 05%
The above criteria can varying according to IIMs. for selection point of view you have to score above 98 percentile in CAT for more probability.

The admission in Iims are based on percentile scores in Common Admission Test (CAT). The other important factors considered in selection are past academic record, work experience, Personal Interview, What etc. The weightage given to various components in selection at IIM Bangalore are given below for an idea.
1. CAT : 25%
2. PI : 30%
3. What : 10%
4. Bachelors Degree : 10%
5. Work Experience : 10%
6. 10th Marks : 10%
7. 12th Marks : 05%
