For CMAT the minimum percentile required is 60 and for CAT it is 50.

IIMS gives weightage to academic qualifications in following manners.
1. Class 10th marks; 90% will be rated by Class 10th marks
2. Class 12th marks; 60%, but less than or equal to 70, will be rated by 05 marks (as in your case if Class 12th done with Arts stream).
3. Now suppose, if you are doing graduation in Arts stream and scores between 65%-70% than the rating of 05 marks will be given to you. The minimum cut off percentage of class 10th and class 12th examinations in different categories are as under.
A) Science stream 80 for general.
B) Commerce stream 77 for general
C) Arts& Humanities 75 for general

CAT is an exam where students score an enviable 100 percentile as well. It is not essential to get a 100% but then 99 percentile is the score that is the minimum qualifying criteria if you want to get into an IIM.

The minimum CAT percentile varies and this goes from 80 to 95. The average cut-off also varies across all IIMs and goes above 90+.

Dear Friend,
The score is very low because you scored below 80%. So freely I am saying the chance is very much low. So, for this reason, try to score >99%. Best to do work for 2 years then go for it if you are only trying to go for IIMs.
