You can go for IIM also, if you want to do MBA correspondence as they do not ask for CAT for it.

You need to have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT score for getting admitted into an MBA programme. I suggest to take at least two among these tests and then apply for admission.

PGDM is equivalent to MBA. MBA is a degree provided by any university while PGDM is affiliated to AICTE. Even IIMs provide PGDM degree. Both are good, the only thing is the institution from which you are pursuing it.

Hi, To be honest, I would recommend that you try out the study material from IMS / TIME / Career Launcher as your first resource. This material is very well designed and keeps the needs of students as the first priority. The slight problem that exists with TIME material, in my opinion, is that sometimes it tends to be a little bit harder than required. You can easily skip out on that particular part of the chapter or those set of problems. However, you should have the knack of knowing what is relevant from a CAT perspective. Chances of getting calls from older IIMs will be low, you can get calls from newer IIMs (Kashipur, Udaipur, Raipur, Rohtak, Amritsar, Sambalpur, Bodhgaya, Trichy, Jammu). A good performance in WAT-PI will enhance your chances of converting the calls.
