Hi Saumya,
Well CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test. It is a common test for those who want to pursue MBA.
Now eligibility criteria for CAT is 65% in PG.
Thereafter, you will be eligible for this exam and even after exams you have to give GDPI.
It is not mandatory to pursue MBA after engineering. It all depends on your field of interest. Like if you want to go in cooperate jobs, you can opt this course and if you want to continue with this technical line you may go for M.Tech of MS.
Actually, B.Tech+engineering is in trend nowadays that's why people are running behind this.
I think you got your answer.
Thank you.
Keep asking.

Hi Sunaina,
Yes, you can get into FMS Delhi provided you score 99.5+ percentile in CAT.Your academics are fine and having no experience doesn't matter much as FMS gives no weightage to work experience.

Last year the cut-off score for All India candidates was 99.99 percentile.
The cut-off scores of previous year can be checked on the DTE website. The link is: https://mba2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx

You can't get actual CAT question papers as it is restricted by IIMs.
However, you can get a similar pattern of questions from various coaching institutes. Books following the previous year's patterns are also available in the market which I think, will suffice your needs.

I don't think you should. This time, you should focus on your Bachelor's course, then afterward you should start preparing for it. One thing that you can do is you can prepare for the basics of CAT sections which you can do by yourself or on-line.

Hi, if you are applying from Hindi quota then the minimum score would be around 65 percentile in MH-CET. NMAT scores are not accepted and CAT scores are also considered less because for Hindi quota. The score is already low, for Open category the score required is 90 percentile for MMS course.
Thanks! Hope you got your answer.
