CDAC, or the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, does not offer an MBA program, so there are no students enrolled in one. Instead, they offer PG Diploma courses, with admissions based on C-CAT rank and course/center preferences.

CDAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) does not have a generalised rank by a organisation. However, its Param Yuva II system was ranked 44th in the world on the Green500 list.CDAC has also been recognised for its contributions to various areas of advanced computing, including the development of indigenous supercomputers and software technologies.

Beginning of Online Registration and Application for C-CAT is on 28th Novemeber 2024 and the last date to apply for CDAC admission is 30 december 2024 and the test is on 11th jan and 12th jan 2025 and announcement of the ranks is on 24th january 2025.

Candidates must fulfill qualifications such as Master's credentials or graduate in specific fields for the PG-DAC program at C-DAC.
- The eligible qualifications for the PG-DAC program at C-DAC include Engineering or Technology degrees from the fields of IT, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or Electrical or Instrumentation.
- MSc/MS in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
- MCA or MCM.
- The candidate needs a master's qualification from Physics or Mathematics or Statistics fields.
- Post Graduate Degree in Management alongside a minimum educational requirement of IT, Computer Science or Computer Applications.

For the C-DAC C-CAT exam, the sections you need to appear for depend on the course category you are applying for. If you are applying for a PG Diploma in Geoinformatics (PG-DGi), you will only need to appear for Section A. However, for other courses like PG Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC), Big Data Analytics, AI, or Cyber Security, you will need to appear for both Section A and Section B. For certain specialised courses like Embedded Systems Design, you will need to take all three sections (A, B, and C).
