The CLAT is an important entrance test to get admission into prestigious law schools, including national law universities. You need to dedicate minimum eight to ten months to prepare for this exam. The syllabus of CLAT and AILET is similar for topics such as reasoning, general knowledge, and English. The CLAT has two additional sections: quantitative reasoning and Legal Reasoning. According to experts, the following are the section-wise recommended books for both law exams:

For the LL.B. You have to give the Entrance Exam of different Universities because CLAT is only for the integrated B.A. LL.B. Course and LL. M. and not for LL.B. You can go for DU LL.B. And BHU LL.B. Entrance Exam.

Firstly you have lots of time to prepare for the exam. For the first few months you should have to focused on reading. Read as many books you can read because it will improve your reading speed and at the same time it will improve your comprehension skill which is the most important factor clear this exam. After reading you have to start reading one national newspaper on daily basis for the section of General Awareness.

There is no perfect timing to start your preparation but you should always start as early as you can. I think 8 to 10 months of decent preparation will get you in your dream college. Firstly you should start with English Language and focused on reading.

Earlier the better.
1 year continuous preparation is best to get into good NLU through CLAT. You can start preparing during your 12th. Read newspaper for current affairs and general awareness. Read one good book for the preparation.
