the admissions in KLE are done on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA)/ JEE part 2 Architecture or any other equivalent qualifying exam conducted by central or state government. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and Common Entrance test (CET) cell of various State Governments require NATA score card for allotting rankings for Architecture admission under the KEA/CET quota.

Only means by which you can get admission in an engineering college, almost anywhere in the country, without giving common entrance test is to seek Admission under the management quota. But remember this is available with only the private Engineering Colleges or Deemed to be universities but not in Government Engineering Colleges.
