College of Engineering Eligibility

To be eligible for the B.E. or B.Tech programs at Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE), Hyderabad, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects, securing a minimum aggregate score of 45%. Admission is primarily based on the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), and candidates must secure a valid rank in this examination. Additionally, applicants are required to fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as specified by the Telangana State Educational Institutions. Primarily the entrance exam performance of candidates forms the basis of selecting them for B.E./B.Tech courses offered by A.R.J College of Engineering and Technology or ARJCET. Except in a few courses, students need to attend counseling based on TNEA in most of the B.E./B.Tech courses, after class 12 board exams. Though students appear based on their marks of qualifying exams, some cases might be through management quota too, considering merit as well. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, which include a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for general category students, and a lower percentage for reserved categories.
