MCOPS is considered to be expensive. The costs of M.Pharm, Ph.D., and B.Pharm programmes differ. For the 2023–2024 academic year, the Manipal campus will charge INR 1,00,000 each semester for B.Pharm. Higher fees than ordinary courses may apply to some specialised M.Pharm programmes. A small annual increase in fees may apply.
While it is an optional service, hostel accommodations are not cheap. Depending on the type of room and shared amenities, prices change. Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is considered to be better than DSI. When compared to DSI, MCOPS consistently has a superior national ranking. In the pharmacy industry, it also has a stronger and longer-standing reputation. Both MCOPS and DSI have knowledgeable and skilled faculty members, while MCOPS may have a larger pool of specialists, especially in specialised fields of pharmacy. They both provide B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Ph.D. programmes; however, MCOPS offers more specialised M.Pharm and Ph.D. alternatives.

Pharma Pharmaceutical Administration, Pharma. D etc. Admission to these courses is offered based on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) followed by physical/online counselling.
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission.
