To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Jai Narain College of Technology (JNCT), the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the JEE Mains or the MPPET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

Entrance exams like JEE Main or MO DTE counselling process is necessary for taking the admission.

There is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate for BC / BCM / MBC, SC (Arunthathiyar), SC & ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu. The applicants seeking to get admission for B.E. / B.Tech courses in the Devineni Venkata Ramana and Dr. Hima Sekhar MIC College of Technology, need to have passed out from the 10+2 or equivalent examination scoring minimum marks of 60%. Along with this requirement, the applicant also needs to be a successful participant in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET or any other approved entrance exam. Admission to those applying through the management quota also depends on other criteria set by the college and state authorities.
