Admission to Government College of Technology at Coimbatore is moderately competitive. Primarily, the process is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exams( TNEA for BTech and CEETA for MTech). While the GCT is a well-known government institution in Tamil Nadu, cutoff marks vary year to year depending on the number of applicants, the popularity of certain branches, and academics performance of candidates.
