However, CV Raman is better than UEM, Kolkata in terms of placement.

Go with M.Com instead of doing other courses.

As per your college choices, it will be better for you to move forward with CSE at Sant Longowal because colleges in Kolkata are not very much known for their exposure and placements, so opt for Longowal for better exposure and placements.

I would say, Thapar University is a better option for B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. TU provides ample of opportunities to students and it has a better value, let alone good placements.
Also, the highest placement offered for ECE (BE) the previous year was Rs. 14 Lakhs pa by Sandisk.
You will get to be a part of a lot of technical societies for ECE at Thapar University.
The faculty is really good and some of the professors are amazing.

You can judge a college by various factors like placements, faculty, curriculum etc.
