The process of admission in the Kalinga University is on the basis of the merit list of the students, it's not so hard to take admission in the University but not so simple too. University takes its entrance exam names KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam), it is a computer based test which is conducted in various cities of India and passing marks for this exam is about 50% marks ( exam has no negative marking). A student with minimum 40% marks in 12th is applicable for filling of admission form in Kalinga University so 60% marks in 12th is also eligible for B.Sc in the admission in the university.

The eligibility criteria at Kalinga University is based on the merit list of students and it varies from course to course.The student who has passed his/her graduation B.Sc with minimum of 40% marks is eligible for the admission and then he has to pass an entrance exam of Kalinga University named KALSEE ( Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam). It is a CBT which is compulsory for every student while taking admission in the university. It is a 90 minute duration with 90 MCQs test which has no negative markings. The admission seats in the university varies from course to course in the university. The student who has passed his/her 12th with 45% marks can apply for admission. The university conducts it's own entrance exam KALSEE (kalinga Scholastic entrance exam) for admission in various courses, and the number of seats in B.Sc depends on various factors such as how many students has applied for the B.Sc programme and it may vary time to time and depends on some factors such as vailabilityof seats, eligibility criteria, and the number of applicant's actions received by the university in that year .

Kalinga University is one of the best universities in Raipur and having NAAC B+ grade listed Rank band 150-200 in university category in NIRF Ranking 2021.
University has good infrastructure with 35 acres wide area . Campus has green parks, library halls, gym hall, ATM, grocery, barbar's shop etc. They have big ground for football and cricket games. A wide range of courses such as B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech Phds etc.. The University has helpful and very cooperative teachers which guide students with their experience and knowledge.
