Candidate passing 10th/12th through distance learning/open school shall be eligible for admission. Candidate passed Diploma programme through distance learning shall not be eligible to apply. If the candidate has passed 10+2 examination, but failed in one or more compulsory subject than the candidate shall not be considered eligible for admission. If the candidate is declared passed with grace as per the rule of related board than the candidate shall be eligible to apply. Comparing the fees, placements, cutoffs, reviews, seats, courses, and other details of the Amity University Raipur and the MATS University in B.Tech programmes reviews indicate that Amity University is a superior choice over MATS University. The B.Tech. programme in computer Science and engineering at Amity University Raipur has received a rating of 4.2 out of 5 from 14 real, verified students, compared to a rating of 3.8 out of 5 from one student at MATS University in Shiksha for the same degree. Amity University has also been ranked 149 in India Today '23. Amity University provides 7 B.Tech courses, while MATS University provides 14.

A definite yes can be given for this question as JEE is a nationally accepted entrance exam. The BE/BTech programme at MATS University in Raipur is offered full-time for four years. JEE Main results are the basis for admission to this degree. Another eligible entry test for MATS University's B.Tech programme is the CG PET. The MATS University in Raipur accepts the JEE Main score as a prerequisite for admission process. Though the institution also accepts the results of multiple entrance exams for degrees like BTech, MBA, MTech, and MCA, merit-based admission is also available to a number of UG, PG, and PhD programmes.
