HSTES ranks are required for admission to BTech courses at the Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions. The ranks for admission in 2025 varied from 637628 to 783567 based on different rounds, the category to which the student belongs, and the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The required documents during the B.E. / B.Tech application process at Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions include:-
1. Class 10 & 12 Marksheets
2. Allotment letter for HSTES or JOSAA Counseling.
3. Proof of Identity:- A government-issued ID as an Aadhar card, voter ID, or passport.
4. Caste Certificate (if applicable): A Valid caste certificate application for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) has to be provided.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. Passport size Pictures:- Generally, 2-4 recent passport-sized images are needed to fulfill the application form.
7. Transfer Certificate: From the last educational institution attended.

The HSTES counseling is conducted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Haryana. It is conducted for admission to all colleges in Haryana, not only for the Rao Pahlad Singh Group of Institutions. Generally, results are announced 4-5 weeks after the process has started. In 2025, the process was started on 5 June, and the ranks were allotted on 10 July 2025.
