Adhiyamaan College of Engineering is a self-financing private institute that is autonomous in nature and is affiliated to Anna University. Adhiyamaan College of Engineering has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| MCA | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have completed Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology securing minimum 55% marks (50% for the backward class including backward class Muslim, 45% for MBC and DNC and a mere pass in the qualifying examination for SC/ SCA/ ST). Or Candidate must have completed B.Sc. with Mathematics as subjects securing minimum 55% marks (50% for the backward class including backward class Muslim, 45% for MBC & DNC and a mere pass in the qualifying examination for SC/ SCA/ ST). |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. |
| B.Arch | Candidate who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply. Yes, you can pursue BE in Computer Science and Engineering after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. There are many institutions in India that offer Lateral Entry provision to Diploma holders.
