CSJMU Kanpur BSc merit lists are generally published a few weeks after the application window closes. This usually happens in July or August, depending on the academic calendar. The university releases different lists for different departments and categories. You can check your rank using your registration ID on the student portal.

CSJMU Kanpur BSc candidates who make it to the merit list are called for counselling. During this phase, you will verify your original documents, like mark sheets and ID proofs. You will also get to lock in your preferred subject combinations and hostels. Once the documents are cleared, you will need to pay the admission fee to secure your seat.

IIIT Guwahati and IIIT Sonepat are one of the newer IIITs and were founded in 2013 & 2014, respectively and are actively strengthening their foundations.
Comparing the two institutions, the IIIT Guwahati was ranked in the 201-300 band of the Engineering category of NIRF 2025 while IIIT Sonepat is unranked.
In terms of placements the median package was INR 12 LPA for IIIT Guwahati while it was INR 8 LPA for IIIT Sonepat in 2025.
Though the cutoff is less competitive for the IIIT Sonepat BTech CSE with the JEE Main cutoff having last round ranks of 41492 while for IIIT Guwahati was 28255.
In short, though the IIIT Sonepat is less competitive

According to the reviews on Shiksha (Priyanshi Goel, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027) CCSU has good infrastructure with supportive faculty members. The placement was decent, with several companies visiting the campus and offering roles like software developer, analyst, etc. The package range is medium and high. The college has decent infrastructure with maintained classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a library with sufficient resources.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University is a really good university. The university has been ranked 41 under the "State Public Universities" category by NIRF 2025.It is a public university with diverse faculty members (arts, science, commerce, law, education, engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, computer science). The university has stronger reputation in traditional arts/commerce and teacher education than in cutting-edge research fields.

The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology has grown significantly since its establishment in 1960 and was ranked:
- 81st under Engineering and 17th under Architecture & Planning by NIRF 2025.
