No, general category candidates with an aggregate of 50% in Class 12 board exams are not eligible for GGSIPU BTech courses. To be eligible for BTech at GGSIPU, candidates need to score a minimum of 55% in their Class 12 board exams in the relevant stream.

Hoever, candidates of non-general category may get relaxation in the eligiblity criteria, making them eligible for GGSIPU BTech admission.

Yes, the SIMC Pune offers MA programme in two different specialisations. The specialisations provided by the institute are Journalism & Media Industries and Film, Television, & Digital Production. The MA programme at SIMC Pune is a two-year programme divided into four semesters. It is a residential course. The total number of seats in MA is 60 over two specialisations. Students wanting to get admission need to apply for the course and clear the selection process of the institute.

The tuition fees for the BTech (lateral entry) corses at GGSIPU is INR 5.6 Lacs in 2026. This fees contains the tuition fees for 2026, 2027 and 2028. Candidates will be paying the installments of other fee components for the above mentioned years with the BTech (lateral entry) tuition fees.
