Yes, students from non-commerce or non-management backgrounds can comfortably do the PGDM at IMDR. The PGDM course is largely designed to bring students from diverse academic streams—science, engineering, arts, psychology, law, pharmacy, & others—to a common understanding of management fundamentals. In the 1st semester, IMDR gives foundational programmes in accounting, quantitative techniques, economics, communication, & organizational behavior, ensuring that every student gains conceptual clarity irrespective of their prior academic exposure.
