Rayat Bahra University falls under the Tier 2 category honestly. Tier 1 in India is generally reserved for IITs, IIMs, NITs and a handful of central universities that have decades of legacy and global recognition. RBU is a private university established in 2014 and while it has grown significantly and holds NAAC accreditation and a good NIRF ranking. That said being Tier 2 does not take away from the quality of education, placements and campus experience it offers. For a private university of its age and size it punches quite well above its weight honestly.
