Yes, getting a seat in GNDU for BA LLB (Hons) can be competitive because the main Amritsar campus has limited intake of just 120 seats. Also,  85% of these seats are strictly reserved for candidates who belong to Punjab. Because selection depends on Class 12 board marks rather than an entrance test, candidates generally need a high aggregate percentage to clear the initial cutoff lists.

Yes, there is a good career scope after completing BA LLB (Hons) at GNDU becasue the university holds an elite NAAC A+ rating, making its degree highly valuable across India. Graduates can immediately enroll with the Bar Council to start independent practice in district and high courts. Also, they can clear state examinations to become a Judicial Officer (Judge), work as a public prosecutor, or join corporate companies as a legal advisor.

No, direct admissions are not allowed at the GNDU campus for BA LLB (Hons). Admissions are strictly structured through a Centralized State-Level Online Counseling Process managed under the state government's guidelines. Entry depends entirely on Class 12 merit ranking so candidates must submit their forms online, get documents verified, and wait for a seat allotment based on the official cutoff lists.

If we compare all three are all good and well-known private universities, but as per my knowledge, LPU is slightly better in terms of opportunities.

For B.Tech CSE, the best choice is:

  1. LPU – Best for placements, coding opportunities, modern labs, and campus life. Many IT companies visit for recruitment.
  2. Amity Noida – Good university with a nice campus and decent placements, but generally offers a lower return on investment than LPU.
  3. Sharda University – Good for studies, but placements for CSE are generally not as strong as LPU and Amity.
