No, aspirants do not require CLAT score for admission in BA LLB (Hons) course. Candidates can get admission in BA LLB (Hons) programme based on their merit. They only need to meet eligibility i.e. Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate for admission.

For the MBA at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, there isn't a fixed CAT or NMAT cutoff because admissions are based on your entrance score along with your interview and academic profile.
That said, students with around 60–65 CAT percentile or an NMAT score of 150–190+ generally have a reasonable chance of getting shortlisted, depending on the competition that year.

There is no official confirmation about the offline mode admission on the website of MAIET for BTech courses. Generally, MAIET BTech admission is done through REAP counselling which is an online process. Students need to register for this counselling through official website of REAP. For further information students can contact the college.

The procedure to apply for BTech at MAIET is followed by various stages. First, students must check the eligibility criteria for BTech at MAIET. Score card for JEE Main and REAP registration are must for MAIET admissions. ECG will call the student as per the rank in JEE Main, and the seats will allot on the basis of the overall performance in counselling. Once the seat is allotted, students need to report to the respective college by physically visiting the campus. At the last, pay the admission fees and complete your admission process.

The official Modern College BA Cutoff and merit list for the 2026 have not been released on the portal. While the cutoff for the Science stream were released in early June, the BA merit lists are expected to be uploaded on the official admission portal Vriddhionline soon. Candidates should keep checking the Senior College UG admission section of the official college website (moderncollegepune.edu.in) or their registered Vriddhionline portal account for the live cutoff links.

With a 77 percentile in JEE Main, getting into Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is possible, but the branch will depend on the admission round and seat availability.
CSE and other top branches are unlikely at this percentile, but branches like Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, or Electronics-related branches may still be possible in later rounds. If you're also eligible through the board-based admission route, your chances can improve.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology does consider Class 12 marks for admission in certain B.Tech categories, so yes, it is possible to get admission based on your board percentage if you meet the eligibility criteria.
As for a management quota, Thapar has stated that its B.Tech admissions are merit-based through its approved admission routes. If you're looking for a direct paid seat outside the official process, there isn't an officially advertised management quota. However, there are separate categories like NRI/Foreign National admissions with their own eligibility and fee structure.
