NID Andhra Pradesh is recognised and listed in Anabin, one of three central information systems that provide information on "Recognition of international professional qualifications". Institute of Engineering and Management is a private institution in Kolkata. The institute is ranked 6th by Times 2025 under the Engineering category, 93rd by The Week 2025 under the Engineering category, and 23rd by Times 2025 for MBA. The institute offers BTech, BBA, BCA, etc. at the UG level. At the PG level, it offers MBA, MCA & MTech. The median package offered during the 2024 placements was INR 16.4 LPA to MBA students. The median package for BTech and M.Tech was INR 6 LPA & INR 3.36 LPA, respectively. Overall it is a good institute in terms of rankings, range of courses, placements, etc.

Joining NIT Meghalaya for ECE is worth it if you want the prestigious "NIT" tag, are comfortable in a remote/transitional campus, and plan to pivot into IT or software roles.

However if you are interested in core Electronics and Semiconductor jobs, the opportunities and infrastructure may be limited.
