The cutoff of KCET for MMEC changes every year with the number of applicants, the level of difficulty of the exam, and the number of available seats. For the freshest admissions, the closing ranks for several engineering streams in MMEC usually fall in the bracket of around 40,000 to 70,000 as per the older data. That is to say, candidates who are getting a rank within that bracket have a reasonable prospect of entry.

Admission to Maratha Mandal Engineering College is not too tough, primarily because of the eligibility criteria as well as the entrance exams accepted. For admission to this college, a person needs to have his 12th grade completed with an aggregate of at least almost 45% in Physics, Mathematics, and one other subject. Admission through entrance exams like KCET is hence highly competitive but not that good since it is competing with highly recognised institutions.
While no exceptionally stringent criteria have been imposed, entrance students seeking higher branches or management quota may have to clear some defined marks or pay higher fe

Maratha Mandal Engineering College has opened admissions for B.E. / B.Tech currently. In order to enrol in the course, the students just need to have passed 12th standard and relevant subjects/percentage qualification are also necessary. Usually, the Admission is taken based on the entrance test conditions of KCET or COMEDK, provided that it is up to the state's decision. This is where the official college website or direct contact with the admissions office would be the best place to go for further information on the admission process; deadlines, specific requirements, etc.

Maratha Mandal Engineering College (MMEC) has a placement cell which helps in getting the students placed. The placement cell gets the student connected with a probable employer by campus recruitment activities. Infosys, HP, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant have recruited from the campus mainly from Computer Science and Electronics streams.
Although placements have been somewhat fuzzy as a whole, with some assessments indicating issues in securing on-campus placements, the college has managed to provide an added impulse for students with employability through taking them to internships and acquainting them with exposure to the industry.

The hostel fees for MMEC vary around 60,000 to 70,000 per year. They charge for basic facilities and accommodation most of the time. However, other meals and services may attract extra charges. Students at the hostels are offered several facilities such as Wi-Fi, common rooms, and mess services. It is however advisable that the current-most updated and accurate fee structure be reaffirmed by the college administration because, for some requirements, the changes are right down to policy.

Maratha Mandal Engineering College has a reputation for its class engineering programs provided. The institute was established in the year 1997 and much appreciated as it is conferred upon by quality faculty members, well qualified and highly experienced. The infrastructure at this college is pretty good including modern labs and facilities that add to the learning experiences.
MMEC also has an extremely strong focus on placements. I've seen Infosys and HP hire from here. Students are great about saying that the faculty takes a personal interest and that, by and large, campus life is enjoyable. There's mixed word on placement levels in
